Lindsey Lockwood

A Southern California native, Lindsey Lockwood was discovered at a Newport Beach skateboarding competition along with her twin sister Amanda at the age of 14. Though she admits she was a bit of a tomboy at the time, she still landed on the covers of Seventeen, Teen Magazine, and German Vogue before even graduating high school.

Lindsey’s supermodel looks and poise earned her great acclaim in the modeling world and, after graduating high school, she and her sister left California for New York and spent two years working the NYC modeling scene. The experience she gained there as well as her innate talent and ambition carried Lindsey to Europe for a while.

Though she loves modeling, Hollywood was calling her name and in 2002 Lindsey returned to her California roots. “I’m fortunate because Los Angeles is the perfect location for both being close to my family and pursuing my career.” Surrounded by a supportive family and her adoring boyfriend, she’s enjoyed great success in a short time earning spots in countless television commercials and—with her affinity for comedy—several television shows since settling in LA.

Currently, Lindsey is focused on her present engagement as a Case Girl on NBC’s hit television game show Deal or No Deal with Howie Mandel. However, she always has an eye turned to the future. “I’m ready to jump onto the big screen,” she says, but “would also love to have [her] own TV show or series.”

Lindsey credits her professionalism and work ethic with getting her through the long hours of taping Deal or No Deal when she must stand in one spot and smile but it doesn’t hurt that she is extremely fit. She enjoys exercise and hits the gym or practices yoga every day. Her athleticism even caught the eye of a major health lifestyle publication, Fitness Magazine, which they have her as a cover model for the September 2009 issue.

A well rounded individual, Lindsey spend her down time molding pottery at a Studio City art gallery at least twice a week and enjoys classic and modern literature such as John Steinbeck, J.D. Salinger, and Augusten Burroughs.

It might be surprising to some but Lindsey is also a bit of a technophile. She loves to build websites from the ground up but you’d also be apt to find her with an X-Box controller in her hand; she admits some of her tomboy habits are a bit harder to break than others. This girl also isn’t shy around a poker table. Lindsey has been playing poker for 8 years, with a winning bankroll to prove it.
